By accessing or using the website carmichaelmasonry.com, requesting a quote, or engaging Carmichael Masonry & Concrete ("we," "us," or "our") for any masonry or concrete services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use our website or services. These terms apply to all visitors, customers, and others who access our website or engage our services.
Carmichael Masonry & Concrete provides masonry and concrete contracting services to residential and commercial customers in Carmichael, CA and surrounding Sacramento-area communities. Services include, but are not limited to, foundation repair, chimney repair, tuckpointing, brick repair, retaining wall construction, masonry restoration, fireplace installation, stone veneer installation, concrete block walls, driveway pavers, walkway construction, and related masonry and concrete work.
All services are subject to a written proposal or contract agreed upon by both parties prior to the start of work. We reserve the right to decline any project at our sole discretion.
Estimates provided by Carmichael Masonry & Concrete are based on information available at the time of the site visit and the scope of work described by the customer. An estimate is not a binding contract. Final pricing is established in a written proposal or signed contract.
If unforeseen conditions are discovered during the course of work - such as hidden structural damage, subsurface obstructions, or conditions that materially change the scope - we will notify you as soon as possible and provide a revised estimate before proceeding with additional work.
Prices quoted are valid for 30 days from the date of the written estimate unless otherwise stated. Material cost increases beyond our control may require a price adjustment on estimates older than 30 days.
Scheduling is confirmed upon acceptance of a written proposal and any required deposit. We will make reasonable efforts to complete the work within the agreed timeframe, but start and completion dates are estimates and may be affected by weather, material availability, permit timelines, or other factors outside our control.
If you need to reschedule or cancel scheduled work, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellations made with less than 48 hours notice may result in a rescheduling fee. If materials have already been ordered or work has begun, any non-refundable material costs or labor incurred will be the customer's responsibility.
We reserve the right to postpone or reschedule work due to unsafe working conditions, including extreme weather, without penalty.
Payment terms are specified in the written proposal or contract for each project. In general:
Accepted payment methods will be specified in your proposal. Invoices not paid within 30 days of the due date may be subject to a late fee. If collection action becomes necessary, the customer agrees to be responsible for any reasonable collection costs and attorney fees.
Where required by local building codes, Carmichael Masonry & Concrete will obtain the necessary permits for work performed. Permit fees will be included in the project cost or billed separately as stated in the proposal. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the property is accessible for required inspections. Work requiring permits will not be considered complete until all required inspections have passed.
Carmichael Masonry & Concrete warrants that work will be performed in a professional and workmanlike manner in accordance with the agreed scope of work. Specific warranty terms, if any, will be stated in the written proposal or contract.
Our warranty does not cover damage resulting from misuse, neglect, modification of the work by others, acts of nature, or conditions beyond the scope of the original project. Normal wear and weathering over time is not covered.
Except as expressly stated in a written warranty, all services are provided "as is" without any additional warranty, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
